Club - Membership :
-Develop and maintain a current Membership Recruitment and Retention Strategy and actively seeking to meet growth targets
-Organize and deliver new member orientation sessions.
-Provide new members with packages of Rotary information at time of introduction and monitor their integration into the Club
-Recognize long service members and present years of service pins as required.
-Keep a record of attendance and deliver to the recording secretary.
-Develop a roster of greeters for weekly meetings.

Environment Committee Chair, Dave Latreille, Announced Fall Tree Planting Date; October 31

Dave Latreille, Chair of the Environment Committee, announced yesterday that the fall tree planting event will take place on Saturday October 31. The planting will start at 9 am along the Speed River west of Edinburgh Road. Parking is available in the parking lot that can be entered from the west side of Edinburgh Road just south of Wellington, between Wellington and the bridge over the Speed. Dave pointed out this is an excellent opportunity for high school students to earn a few community service hours.
