Polio Eradication in India

Bill Stevens, Chair of the Rotary Foundation Promotion Committee, presented a 40-minute movie of one of the largest projects ever to be undertaken by the Rotary Foundation, the eradication of polio from this earth. The movie was a moving message of the difficulties encountered in India trying to reach all children for the oral vaccine against polio. The film showed the enormous number of people problems that have to be overcome.
Bill urged all members to donate generously to the Rotary Foundation in support of this enormously important project. The goal for ROG is $ 17,200.
