Community - Environment : -Continue to develop a centennial project called Rotary Forest 2020, the Club's Centennial Year, working with the GRCA and the City of Guelph by reforesting 100 acres.
-Continue to evolve the concept of a Rotary Park with the assistance of several other agencies.
-Be proactive on environmental matters in the community through involvement of members in tree planting in cooperation with the City of Guelph, the Roy Hammond Rotary Tree Grove at the University of Guelph, etc
-Support A Trees for Guelph by increasing the number of trees planted annually to 800 so as to attain 40% tree canopy cover in Guelph by 2020.

Terry Doyle Scholarship Recipient
Posted on Friday, January 8th 2010    Ashley O'Brien is this year's winner of the Terry Doyle Scholarship. Ashley was a student of GCVI where she won awards as a member of the GCVI Drama Club. At present she is studying theatre art at Sheridan College. Ashley thanked the club today for selecting her for the Terry Doyle Scholarship
