Larry (Red Maple) Kelly's Paul Harris Award

Colin Ferguson presented to Ferne Kelly, Larry Kelly's widow, a Paul Harris Award that was bestowed on Larry (Red Maple) Kelly posthumously for his considerable contribution to the "greening" of Guelph. Larry took over the leadership of the tree planting activity of the club with the City of Guelph from Dave Kennedy in 1991 and proceeded to help us reach the 20,000th tree. After the lunch the 20,000th tree was planted in York Road Park together with a plaque to commemorate Larry's contribution to the tree planting program.
