Mr. Quentin Martin Talks About Metamorhhosis in Mennonite Farming
Posted on Sunday, May 2nd 2010    Mr. Quentin Martin, "81 graduate of OAC, University of Guelph, spoke at last Friday's meeting about the many changes taking place in agricultural practices of the Mennonite community. In his own family they moved away from animal husbandry to seed growing and handling, to vegetable farming and other agriculture related enterprises. Quentin iis President and CEO of Wintermar Grains Farms, a flourishing seed business. Previously, he was involved in dairy; his Holstein herd was disposed of earlier this year. He grows, dries, handles and sells seed, other than corn and soybeans, to wholesalers and to the brewing companies.
