Vocational Services - Vocational :
-Continue financial support for Junior Achievement (Guelph), Waterloo-Wellington Fair and Camp Enterprise
-Participate on planning committee for the District’s Camp Enterprise.
-Interview and select up to six local high school students for Camp Enterprise.
-Review and support the Club’s vision statement with respect to Vocational Committee’s roles ie: “mentorship of members”

Mr. Quentin Martin Talks About Metamorhhosis in Mennonite Farming

Mr. Quentin Martin, "81 graduate of OAC, University of Guelph, spoke at last Friday's meeting about the many changes taking place in agricultural practices of the Mennonite community. In his own family they moved away from animal husbandry to seed growing and handling, to vegetable farming and other agriculture related enterprises. Quentin iis President and CEO of Wintermar Grains Farms, a flourishing seed business. Previously, he was involved in dairy; his Holstein herd was disposed of earlier this year. He grows, dries, handles and sells seed, other than corn and soybeans, to wholesalers and to the brewing companies.
