President Ian Smith' First Meeting

Last Friday President Ian Smith conducted his inaugural meeting at the Cutten Club. He talked about R.I President Ray Klinginsmith' priorities for this 2010/2011 Rotary year; reaching out to younger people and eradication of polio. Each district will be allowed to form up to two e-clubs where members do not meet at regular weekly meetings but use computers and other electronic devices to communicate. With respect to polio eradication, our club has committed to contribute $ 16,500 toward that goal.
Locally, Ian will be striving to improved internal and external communication. As part of that, there will be monthly reports to the members of board meetings.
